The dining experience was a highlight, though the limited menu might be a consideration for longer stays. Peter's charming dining options were pleasing, and I highly recommend trying the veggie goulash—it’s substantial enough to share! Conveniently isolated yet close to stunning hiking trails, Waldcafé offers ample free parking, which was a nice touch. The family-run atmosphere, complemented by the friendly staff, made it feel welcoming. While the hotel is closing soon for their seasonal break, it serves as a simple reminder that the balance of value and luxury here makes it a worthwhile choice for nature lovers.
